Despite promising as a candidate that health care talks would be open to the public and televised on CSPAN, Democrats in Washington, D.C. are currently meeting behind closed doors with industry lobbyists working out a final health care bill. Today, U.S. Rep. Dave Camp (R-MI), the ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, signed onto an effort that would force the House to vote on opening the talks to the public and the media.
